Where Do The Proceeds Go?
In order to explain why we are asking for $666,000 we have created the chart seen below. The costs above amount to our
total annual fees. The bulk of the money is going be for purchasing the lifesaver products, as the prices range from
$119.99 to $249.99 (for any product) plus tax. Our partnership with the lifesaver company gave us a 20% discount on each
unit we purchase. The remainder of the money is divided amongst four other contributing factors; flights/shippings,
transportaion in Uganda, advertising, and for manufacturing the products in our store. $31,000 will be put towards
getting us and the lifesaver products over to Uganda. Thanks to our parnership with FedEx, we received a 75% discount
on all shipping fees of the products themselves. Another $30,000 goes towards advertising. So far we have 3 bill boards
throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and 12 in total all through Canada. $20,000 is used for manufacturing high quality
merchandise which can be purchased online through this website. The remaining $6,500 are used for car rentals in Uganda to
us around in order be able to provide clean, potable water to Ugandans.
